An Associate Professor in Veterinary Business at Nottingham University, Brian also works independently as a practice management consultant, veterinary business partner, and communications psychologist via Vetology.  He speaks regularly on many aspects of non-clinical veterinary practices at conferences all around the world.  He also serves as Veterinary Consultant for Petplan Pet Insurance.  In 2017, Brian served as President of the UK Society of Practising Veterinary Surgeons and founded Colourful CPD, an online CPD provider acquired by Agilio Software in 2023. He also established the British Veterinary Receptionist Association.

Brian’s accolades include the RCVS Fellowship for outstanding clinical practice and the RCVS Inspiration Award for his charity work and professional support. Notably, Brian has completed numerous marathon challenges, raising over £130,000 for charity.
